Yogurt Chicken

About 1kg chicken pieces |

1 c. yogurt |
|
 |
1/4c. melted butter or margarine |
|

1 chopped green chili |
|
 |
1/4 c. chopped coriander leaves |
|
 |
Finely chopped ginger |
|
 |
salt |
|
 |
5 garlic cloves, crushed |

Mix all the seasons including salt, chili, yogurt, coriander leaves, ginger, and garlic well |

 |
Skin the chicken pieces, prick all over with a fork and then put it in a large cooking pan. |

Cover the chicken pieces with the sauce and leave it covered overnight |

Next day, heat the oven, |

Put the chicken pieces in a roasting pan, cover it with half of the butter and then put the yogurt on the surface |
|
 |
Put the roasting pan in the center of the preheated oven at 400°F for 15 m. then reduce the heat and leave for more half an hour or till tender. |

 |
Remove the chicken from the oven, place on the serving dish and cover with the sauce and serve hot. |
