Toast sesame seeds (without oil) in a saucepan for 1 to 3 minutes, stirring from time to time. Remove sesame seeds from saucepan when golden. Set aside. |

Wash the spinach thoroughly and pat dry over paper towels. |

Remove the stems and inedible pits and yellow leaves. |

Parboil water in a saucepan over high heat. |

 |
Place spinach in boiling water. Place a lid to cover. |

Lower the heat to medium-high and simmer for 3 to 5 minutes. |

When tender, remove from heat and transfer into a colander to drain well. Set aside to cool, then press with your hands carefully and gently to discard and excess water. |

Tear spinach into 2-inch lengths and transfer into a bowl. |

 |
Stir in the rest of ingredients and serve. |
