Shepherd’s Pie


المقادير
1/2 kg lean ground beef  
4peeled and halved potatoes  
1 grated carrot  
2 tbsp. butter  
Salt and pepper to taste  
1/4 c. milk  
1 tbsp. vegetable oil  
1 chopped onion  
1/2 tsp. thyme  
1 tbsp. finely chopped parsley  
1/2 chopped garlic clove  
Pinch of garlic powder  
1 tbsp. soy sauce  
طريقه التحضير
Bring some water with salt to boil and cook the potato halves in it for 20m.
Remove from water and place in another cooking pan
Put butter and seasoning and mash with milk
Stir well and mix till smooth and set aside.
Sauté onion in preheated oil till tender
Add beef, carrot, parsley, garlic, thyme, and seasoning and leave on fire for 5 minutes
Pour soy sauce over the mixture and stir well
Arrange the meat mixture in pie dish and top with potato mixture and swirl with fork
Bake in preheated oven at 375°F and then leave for half an hour
When the outer part become golden brown remove it and serve hot
