Sautéed Chicken


المقادير
1kg chicken  
1 c. sliced mushrooms,  
1 tbsp. vegetable oil  
2 tbsp. butter or margarine  
1 1/2 c. chicken broth  
1/3 c. all-purpose flour  
1 crumbled bay leaf  
2 chopped garlic cloves,  
Thyme, pepper, salt  
طريقه التحضير
Cut the chicken into neat joints, rinse with cool water and pat dry
Put flour with some salt in a plastic bag, put the pieces in it and shake well to have all of it coated with flour.
Melt the butter and oil in a frying pan and fry the chicken till brown on all sides.
Cover and lower fire and leave the chicken pieces for 15 minutes to simmer then sprinkle with thyme, bay leaf, and garlic and pour the broth gradually and the mushroom and leave for more half an hour after stirring well and covering it.
Serve on a deep serving dish with sauce over it.
