Pastry Casserole


المقادير
1/2 kg lean lamb  
2 sweet green peppers  
1/4 kg lisan asfur  
2-3 onions, sliced thin  
1 teaspoon oil  
1 tablespoon butter  
salt and pepper  
1 teaspoon cinnamon  
meat stock  
طريقه التحضير
Prepare the pepper by removing the stems and seeds and slicing it thinly.
Saute onion in mixture of butter and oil and cut meat into small cubes.
Add lamb and fry until absorbing the juice.
Cook and toss the mixture cinnamon, peppers, and seasoning, after covering with stock for 15-20 minutes.
remove all these ingredients with perforated skimmer, and put in oven pot.
parboil the lisan asfur in the stock for 5-7 minutes, then pour over meat mixture.
If the stock does not completely cover, add more hot water.
Bake in preheated moderate oven for 30 minutes.
