One-Pot Meal with Chicken


المقادير
1 kg. boneless dark chicken meat  
1 tbsp. butter, margarine, or vegetable oil  
1 chopped onion  
3 tbsp. chopped celery tops  
1 tomato  
2 potatoes  
1/4 head cabbage  
4 carrots  
2 tbsp. chopped parsley  
2 1/4 c. water  
Salt, pepper  
طريقه التحضير
Melt the butter on medium heat in a large frying pan
Fry onion and celery tops till tender in the kettle, then add the chicken pieces and stir for 15 m. or till brown.
Pour some water in the kettle and cook covered on medium heat for another 15m.
Cut the vegetables (potato, tomato, carrot, cabbage) into cubes each in a separate plate.
When meat is tender, spread a layer of potato, then tomato, carrot and finally tomato and pour 2 cups of water and salt and pepper as needed.
Bake on low heat for 20 minutes of till the vegetables tender, then remove from fire and decorate with fresh parsley and serve hot.
