Mixed Vegetables Casserole


المقادير
1/4 kg okra with peeled ridges  
2-3 peeled and diced potatoes,  
1 brown peeled and diced round eggplant,  
5 peeled pearl onions,  
1 chopped hot chili pepper,  
1/4 kg string beans  
1/2 kg lamb or beef  
1 cup shelled peas  
1 teaspoon mint powder  
cooking fat, salt and pepper

Cut meat into bite-sized cubes, fry meat in cooking oil until the juice is reabsorbed, then remove from pot and place in casserole dish.
Toss all the vegetables except the hot pepper into the remaining cooking oil and saute.
Add hot pepper, mint powder, and seasoning to meat and cover with water.
Cook over slow fire for about 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
