Mashed Okra

1 kg okra |

2 cups tomato juice |

cooking oil, salt and pepper |

1/2 kg finely ground beef or lamb, |

2 finely sliced onions, |

 |
1 teaspoon ground coriander |

 |
5 garlic cloves |

Fry onions in the oil until golden, |

Add ground meat, and fry until absorbing all the juice. |

Season the tomato juice and pour over the frying meat and cook for 10 minutes, |

lower heat, add okra, and stir constantly until all the ingredients are completely blended. |

Fry crushed garlic with salt and coriander (taliya) in a separate pan, then toss into cooking pot over the okra mixture and simmer for 5-7 minutes. |
