Avocado and Papaya Salad


This popular salad in the Kenyan cuisine has a favorite hearty taste you should try!
المقادير
2 tbsp. olive oil  
salt and pepper to season  
2 large avocados  
1 small papaya  
1 small head Bibb lettuce  
1 tbsp. lemon juice  
1 red grapefruit

Wash the lettuce and pat dry with paper towels. Set aside.
Wash and peel the grapefruit. Split into segments. Separate the thin skin off the segments. Divide each segment in half. Set aside in a bowl.
Split the avocados and papaya evenly in half. Scoop out the inedible pits, seeds, and the fleshy pulp.
Chop the fruits into small pieces.
Place chopped fruits in a medium bowl and blend well.
Add chopped grapefruit to the bowl. Mix well.
Spread the lettuce leaves on a serving plate.
Place fruit mixture over the bed of leaves.
In a separate, mix lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper to prepare the dressing.
Drizzle the lemon juice mixture over the salad. Serve.
