المقادير
A) pastry:  
.  
1 kg best-quality flour  
2 tablespoons baking powder  
cooking oil and salt  
1/2 cup butter or oil  
filling:  
.  
hardboiled eggs  
savory minced beef  
finely chopped parsley hard  
salted cheese, grated  
طريقه التحضير
Sift flour, baking powder, and salt
Cut in the butter or mix with oil. Add enough water to make pastry stiff.
After kneading thoroughly, place it in warm place for 1 hour to rise.
Roll out thinly and cut into rounds about 10 ems in diameter.
Place filling on half of circle and fold other half on top, pressing down firmly with fingers.
Fry in oil or brush top of each turnover with melted butter and place on greased baking pan and then bake in preheated hot oven until crisp and golden.
