pickled green olives (1)


المقادير
2 kgs green olives  
1 cup chopped celery  
8-10 hot chili peppers  
6 cups of water  
Oil, 4-6 tablespoons salt  
طريقه التحضير
Boil water and salt and pour into pickling jar to cool.
Submerge olives and celery completly with the above pickling water, seal top with oil, and cover tightly for 3-4 weeks.
Keep in a warm place away from drafts and gently rock the jar from time to time.
Another way for pickling Olive:
** ingredients:

4-6 tablespoons salt, 8-10 limes, oil
2 kgs green olives
6 cups water

**Way of Preparation

Boil water and salt and pour into pickling jar to cool.

Press juice of limes, but do not discard rinds.

Add lemon juice, olives, and cover with the rinds.

Press down firmly, seal top with oil, and cover tightly for 3-4 weeks.

Keep in a warm place away from drafts and gently rock the jar the from day to another.
