cracker bread with mixed nuts

1 packet cracker bread  
1 cup butter  
2 cups milk  
1 egg  
2 cups sugar syrup  
1 cup mixed nuts  
2 tablespoons raisins  
1 teaspoon nutmeg  
طريقه التحضير
Fry raisins lightly till puffing, then blend with nuts and nutmeg
Mix milk with finely beaten egg and put in a shallow serving dish
coat the cracher bread sheat with this mixture of egg and milk till soft
Spread the cracker bread sheet in the greased oven tray and repeat the same preocess with other 3-6 cracker bread sheets with adding some drops of melted butter in between
Put the mixture of nuts, mignuts, and raisins over these layers
Spread other 3-4 layers on the top with some drops of melted butter in between.
Release the sides of the tray and cut the cracker bread layers into mediem-size pieces before adding the rest of the melted butter and allow in it to spread through the opennings to the lower parts.
Cook in a preheated moderate oven for about 15-20 minutes of till the top is nicely brown then remove form fire and saturate with cold sugar syrup.
- sugar syrup should be cold in order not to give you a crispy undesirable result.
