Vermicelli and Raisins

2 tbsp. vegetable oil |

2 c. hot water |
|
 |
1 tsp. ground cardamom |
|
 |
1 c. dates, shred |
|
 |
1 c. walnuts, cut into tiny pieces |
|
 |
2 c. vermicelli |
|
 |
1 c. sugar |
|
 |
1 c. raisins |
|

Break vermicelli into 1-inch pieces. |
|
 |
Place a frying pan with oil over medium heat for 60 seconds. |

Add vermicelli. Fry until brown. Add 2 c. hot water little by little. |

 |
Add other ingredients (cardamom, sugar, raisins, dates, and nuts). Stir well. |

 |
Cover frying pan then reduce heat to medium low. |
|
 |
Keep stirring from time to time for about 8 to 10 minutes. |
|
 |
Vermicelli is done when water is absorbed. Serve. |
