Stewed Tomato Sauce

cooking oil |

2 cups tomato juice |

2 finely chopped onions, |

1 teaspoon vinegar |

5 crushed garlic cloves, |

salt and pepper |

Bake onions in the oil until tender, then put the crushed garlic and fry to a pale brown. |

Pour tomato juice over the fried onion and garlice and simmer until sauce is cooked for about quarter of an hour. |

Adjust seasoning and add vinegar and leave on slow falme for more 4 minutes. |
