Stewed Pearl Onions


المقادير
1/2 kg lamb  
2 tablespoons lemon juice  
1 teaspoon cinnamon  
1/2 kg pearl onions, shelled and intact  
2 cups water  
2 tablespoons flour  
Cooking oil  
Salt and pepper  
طريقه التحضير
Mince meat twice, then knead with seasoning.
Wet hands and shape into small round balls.
Brown onions in the oil lightly, remove, fry meatballs in the same oil, then add to onions.
Fry the flour (in the same pot) till brown, remove from fire, add water, and stir until dilute.
Return to fire, add cinnamon, adjust salt and pepper, and parboil.
Lower meatballs and onions slowly into the pot and cook over medium fire.
Add lemon juice just before serving and boil for further 1-2 minutes.
