Stewed Kidneys

1 kg kidney |

1 cup meat stock |
|

1 tablespoon cornstarch |
|
 |
2 onions, chopped into thin pieces |

Cooking oil |
|
 |
Salt and pepper |
|
 |
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg |

Slice kidneys into cubes. |

Saute onion in cooking oil. |

Add kidneys to onion, fry until the liquid is absorbed, and stir not frequently. |

Add salt, papper, and meat stock and cook for 9-10 minutes. |

Transfer kidneys onto a warm serving plate. |

Add cornstarch to make juice thicker. |
|
 |
Taste and make sure seasoning is as desired, add nutmeg, and spill over kidneys. |
