Stewed Heart

Meat stock |

1 kg heart |
|

6-7 garlic cloves |

Cooking oil |

Salt and pepper |

You may use 2-3 cups tomato sauce instead of meat stock. |

Slice heart, soak in salted water for 1-2 hours, then pour several changes of water to wash and slowly press out blood. |

Put over slow flame, stir to make it lose its liquid, and drain. |

Shell garlic cloves, cut diagonally, and fry lightly in the oil. |

Add heart slices and fry. |

 |
Cover with meat stock and stew for 33-40 minutes. |
