Coat fish with lemon juice and salt and leave for 1 hours. |

Brown onions, then add crushed garlic and stir constantly. |

Turn off fire, mash well, then add seasoning, spices and plenty of water. |

Return to fire and when boiling add fish and cook until tender. |

Reserve some of the dark colored broth to submerge the fish with Heat oil. |

 |
Fry rice until all grains are well coated with oil. |
|
 |
Add broth to make up 1 1/2 times volume of rice, adjust seasoning and cook until tender. |
|
 |
Serve rice and stewed fish separately. |
