Steak and Bean Stew


Steak and Bean Stew is a delicious Zimbabwean recipe usually served with cornmeal with pumpkin and peanut butter and sometimes with yellow rice.
المقادير
1/2 kg shoulder steak  
2 peeled and diced tomatoes  
1 tbsp. canola oil  
2 sliced onions  
2 minced garlic cloves  
1 seeded and minced chili pepper,  
3 tbsp. curry powder  
Dash of salt  
Dash of black pepper  
2 cans cooked kidney beans with liquid  
3 tbsp. freshly squeezed lemon juice

Sauté onion in preheated oil in a Dutch oven till brown
Cut steak in to small pieces and put steak in the browl and leave on fire for 5 minutes with stirring well and when finely mixed lower heat and leave covered for 20 minutes
Put garlic, chili pepper, and curry powder in the and stir well and leave for few minutes
Put tomatoes and leave to combine well with the other ingredients
Add salt, black pepper, beans, and liquid from beans and leave on fire for 20 minutes to simmer
Remover from fire and serve hot
