Small Pieces of Beef, Cooked and Fried


المقادير
1 kg small pieces of beef  
5 onions, cut into thinly slices  
Cooking oil  
1 kg tomatoes, cut into slices  
1 tablespoon cornstarch  
Salt and pepper  
طريقه التحضير
Cut beef into slices of 2 cms thick, pound, then put slices in a pot.
Arrange meat with layers of onions, beef, and tomatoes and sprinkled with seasoning.
With your hand, push down to press, add 1 cup of water, then put over low hear to cook for 35-40 minutes.
Take the beef off from vegetables, fry in oil, then place on serving dish and keep warm.
Blend the vegetables with their liquid, drain, return to simmering pot, and make sure seasoning is as you desire.
Mix in cornstarch,cook for 2-3 minutes, then pour over the beef on the dish.
