Heat oven at 375°F. |

Wash plums. Shred in half. |
|
 |
Scoop undesired and inedible pits. Set plums aside. |
|
 |
Prepare dressing by combining powdered sugar, sour cream, and vanilla or almond extract in a mixing bowl. Mix together. |

Make a mixture of flour, baking powder, small pieces of butter, powdered sugar, and salt in a separate bowl. |
|
 |
Keep mixing until texture is similar to that of large bread crumbs. |
|
 |
Add egg, egg yolk, and sour cream to flour mixture. Blend thoroughly until well mixed and light. |

Grease a baking pan then dust with flour. |
|
 |
Unfold mixture evenly on baking pan. |
|
 |
Now insert plum halves onto dough and press gently without pushing them far inside. |
|
 |
Place 1 tsp. dressing on each plum half. |
|
 |
Place pan in oven on middle rack and bake for 25 to 30 minutes. |
|
 |
Remove from oven when bread is golden brown. |
|
 |
Sprinkle with powdered sugar. |
|
 |
Before serving, cut into squares. |
