Rice Pudding

Place sugar in milk and allow to dissolve, then add rice, and cook over slow fire for 15-20 minutes or until the rice softens. |

Stir two tablespoons of lightly fried raisins into the pudding, then sprinkle some cinnamon powder on top, and serve (usually cold). |

You can top this dish with marmalade before serving if desired. |
