Rice Pudding

1 1/2 c. cooked white rice |

2 tsp. vanilla extract |

1/4 c. chopped almonds |

1/2 c. water |
|
 |
1/2 c. sugar |
|
 |
1/2 tsp. salt |
|
 |
2 c. milk |
|
 |
1 c. chilled whipping cream |
|
 |
2 envelopes unflavored gelatin |

 |
Mix gelatin, sugar, and salt in hot water till gelatin is completely dissolved |

 |
Add milk, cooked rice and vanilla and divide the mixture in small bowls and stir from time to time for 15 minutes |

 |
Put the whipping cream after beating it to stiff |
|
 |
Pout the mixture into greased pan for half an hour and t hen chill for 3 hours remove and serve cold |
