Rice Pudding


المقادير
1 cinnamon stick  
Grated peel of 1 lime  
1 tsp. vanilla extract  
1 1/2c rice  
1 c. sugar  
3 c. water  
8 c. milk  
Ground cinnamon  
طريقه التحضير
Wash rice with cold water and strain well directly before cooking it
Put in a saucepan with salted water and bring to boil
When water boils, lower heat and leave rice to simmer for 15 minutes.
Put cinnamon and peeled lime, lower heat and add milk gradually a cup each time
Add vanilla after the first cup and stir well till all the milk is absorbed and the rice becomes creamy lower heat and remove cinnamon stick
Serve the rice in small bowls and sprinkle a dash of cinnamon
