Any kind of white fish (such as haddock) can be used instead of the red snapper.

Combine together flour, salt, and pepper in a small bowl. |

Cut the limes into wedges. Set aside. |

Roll a fish fillet in the mixture to coat both side with flour. Pat gently to discard excesses. Do the same with remaining fillets. |

Place floured fillets on a plate. |

Place oil in a skillet to heat. |
|
 |
Fry snapper until both sides are golden brown. |

When done, remove from skillet and place onto a serving plate. |
|
 |
Serve warm with lime wedges. |
