Bring oven at heat 350°F. |

In a large bowl, add flour, baking powder, cornstarch, and salt and mix well. Leave aside. |

Use a whisk to beat eggs until smooth. |

Add sugar to eggs, little by little. Mix thoroughly. Then stir in lemon and water. Blend constantly. |

Add this mixture gradually to the flour mixture, mixing well after every addition. |

Lightly butter a baking pan. |

 |
Pour batter into greased pan and bake for 25 to 30 minutes. |

Batter is cooked when its color becomes lightly browned and when a knife inserted into its middle comes out nearly clean. |

Remove cake from pan and allow to cool on a wire rack. |
|
 |
When cooling finishes, cut cake into 16 squares. |
|
 |
Prepare dressing by mixing all frosting ingredients in a small bowl until their texture has become light and creamy. |
|
 |
Garnish the tops of squares with the frosting. Serve in plates. |
