Malawi peanut puffs are famous African sweet cookies which came originally from Malawi, the “warm heart of Africa”.

Bring oven to 325°F heat. |

Brush a baking sheet with cooking oil / margarine. |

Mix margarine and sugar in a medium mixing bowl until you get a creamy texture. |

Add flour, peanuts, and vanilla to the margarine-sugar mixture and blend thoroughly until well blended. |

Shape dough into small balls with your fingers. |

When all dough is shaped, transferred onto greased baking sheet and place in oven to bake for 30 to 35 minutes. |

When backed, remove from oven. |
|

Place some powdered sugar in a deep bowl. Place backed puffs in bowl and roll to coat totally with sugar. |

Serve warm or cool. |
