New Year’s Beef-Rice Cake Soup


المقادير
1/2kg frozen sliced rice cake  
2 tsp. sesame seeds  
1/2 kg. lean tender beef  
2 tsp. soy sauce  
3 minced garlic cloves  
8 c. beef broth  
2 sliced green onions  
1 beaten egg  
Dash of salt  
Dash of black pepper  
طريقه التحضير
Put the rice cake slices in cold water for 60 m.
Prepare the piece by cutting it into small stripes and marinade it with soy sauce, sesame seeds, garlic, salt, and black pepper
Add beef cubes and fry in preheated oil till brown from all sides
Pour water over the beef and let to simmer on low fire for 40 m. on low fire uncovered
Rinse the rice cakes well and separate each individual rice cake from the frozen clumps to be cooked well
Add rice and onion to soup and leave for 15 m. or till rice is cooked
Put the beaten egg in the boiling soup and stir well for one minute before removing from fire and serve hot
