Minced Meat, with Ground Rice

1/2 cup ground rice |

1 teaspoon vinegar |

2 onions |

1 teaspoon sugar |

Salt and black pepper |
|
 |
2 cups tomato juice |

Cooking oil |

Pound beef with 1 onion twice then add ground rice, salt, and pepper and knead well. |

Wet your hands, mold meat into small round balls, fry in the oil, then transfer onto absorbent paper when done. |

Cut the second onion into very small pieces and fry (in the same oil). |

Chafe vinegar and sugar in tomato juice, pour over the fried onions, and cook for 12-14 minutes. |

Return meatballs to pot and cook for further 8-10 minutes and keep shaking pot slowly to prevent the meatballs from sticking to the bottom. |
