Macadamia Nut Bread


Australia is abundant with lands rich with Macadamia nuts which have grown there for centuries. When you taste this sweet dessert, you enjoy an unforgettable Australian flavor.

To make 1 loaf of Macadamia Nut Bread, you need:  
1 c. self-rising flour  
1 c. bran cereal, such as All-Bran  
1 c. milk  
1/2 c. sliced macadamia nuts  
1/2 c. chopped dried apricots or candied cherries  
1 c. sugar  
طريقه التحضير
Bring oven to 350°F heat.
Mix cereal and milk in medium mixing bowl. Set aside for 8 minutes.
Chop nuts and fruit.
Stir well in sugar, flour, nuts, and fruit to cereal mixture.
Brush a loaf pan with oil. Distribute bread batter evenly in the pan.
Bake for 50 to 55 minutes.
When done, a knife inserted into the center of the flan should come out nearly clean.
Remove from oven and allow to cool on a wire rack until completely cooled.
Slice and serve in plates.
