Put licorice powder in deep bowl and add cold water to cover. |

Use your fingertips or a spoon in chafing licorice in water until you get a thick consistency. |

Discard for about 20 minutes. |

Place in cheesecloth bag and hang in jug filled with 10-11 glasses of water. |

Discard in refrigerator. |

 |
Pull out and gently squeeze the bag in jug, then put bag aside. |

 |
To make plenty of bubbles on top, raise jug about 6 inches over the glass, pour the juice, then serve. |

*You can suspend the cheesecloth bag in fresh cold water and add sugar to sweeten the drink. |
