Kebab with Yogurt


This recipe is Turkish in origin.
المقادير
1 kg lamb  
2 cups yogurt  
1 teaspoon paprika  
2 grated onions  
6 peeled and diced tomatoes  
2 tablespoons lemon juice  
6 slices toast bread  
cooking oil  
salt and pepper  
طريقه التحضير
Slice lamb into small cubes.
Make a mixture of lemon juice, salt, and chopped onion.
Soak lamb into onion mixture for about 60 minutes, then remove.
Fry on low fire until tender. Set aside in a warm spot.
Use same oil to fry tomatoes. Add salt and pepper as desired.
Simmer until mixture has got sauce with a thick consistency.
Fold warm tomato sauce on serving plates, place bread, then top with tender meat.
Add paprika and seasoning to the yogurt and pour over meat and serve immediately.
