Heat oven at 350ºF. |
Butter spring-form pan and set aside. |
Dust a flat surface with flour. |
Place pieces of dough on the floured surface. Cover with a towel and place a warm place for about 2 hours, or until it rises high. |
Use a rolling pin to roll dough pieces on a floured flat surface (like a tabletop). |
Insert 1 tbsp. of jelly into the middle of each square. Moisten the edges with water, and pull up the corners, pressing gently to seal. Do same till all sides are sealed. |
Transfer dough onto the greased pan. Then add enough amount of melted butter on top to brush. |
Cover with a towel and allow dough to rise for 15 to 20 minutes more. |
Take towel off and bake for 25 to 30 minutes. |
When rolls have become lightly browned, remove from oven. Allow rolls to cool for 5 minutes in the pan. Then, transfer rolls on a wire rack to finish cooling. |
Sprinkle rolls with powdered sugar. Serve. |
To avoid the dish becoming rich with fat while buttering, you can brush the rolls lightly with milk or with lightly beaten egg whites. |
