Hazelnut Sauce


This recipe comes originally from the Turkish cuisine.
المقادير
4 crushed garlic cloves,  
1 chunk stale bread  
1 cup hazelnuts,  
salt, 1 cup olive oil  
2 tablespoons white vinegar

Moisten bread with water till tender, then squeeze excess moisture and crack in a serving bowl
Add ground hazelnuts and crushed garlic and beat in white vinegar, salt, and oil alternately in a thin stream till reaches the required thickness and serve it cold.
If hazelnuts is not available, You can replace it with any other ground nuts, pine nuts, almonds and/or walnuts.
In this case you should replace the vinegar with lemon juice and this would result in a good taste but not as tasty as the original one.
