Ground Lamb Kebabs
Kebabs is a delicious meal in northern India and some countries in the Middle East. It can be made as meat cooked on skewers or over a charcoal grill.

 |
1 1/2 lb. ground lamb or beef |
|
 |
1 tbsp. melted butter or margarine |
|
 |
3 chopped garlic cloves, |
|
 |
3 tbsp. chopped fresh coriander leaves |
|
 |
1 tsp. grated fresh ginger, |
|
 |
1/2 tsp. ground turmeric |
|
 |
1 finely chopped green chili, |
|
 |
1 finely chopped medium onion, |
|
 |
1 tbsp. lemon juice |
|
 |
1 tsp. salt |
|
 |
1 tbsp. plain yogurt (optional) |

 |
Mix all the ingredients together in a large bowl except melted butter, blend with your hand till being stiff, and leave for half an hour at room temperature. |

Heat broiler and line the bottom of a broiler pan with aluminum foil |

 |
Lightly grease 12 skewers with the melted butter shape two pieces in a rectangular shape on each skewer and put a cross the broiler. |

 |
Leave the broiler in the oven close to heat for about 5 minutes, then turn the skewer on the other side and leave it for other 4 minutes or till getting brown. |

Put the skewers on a large serving dish and serve. |
