Peel kiwifruit with a paring knife and cut into thin slices. Set aside. |

Prick the bottom and sides of the pastry shell with a fork. |

Bake pastry. |

Prepare filling by mixing cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, and heavy cream together in a medium bowl. Stir until tender and soft. |

Fold cream cheese filling on cooled pastry shell. |

Distribute slices of kiwifruit evenly to top cream cheese filling, overlapping them in circles. |

For the glaze, mix apricot preserves with water in a small saucepan and place on fire until preserves melt. |

Allow to cool and stir from time to time. |

Fold glaze over kiwifruit. |
