Gizzards, Stewed in Tomato Sauce


المقادير
1 1/2 kg gizzards  
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg or mixed spice  
2-3 cups tomato sauce  
طريقه التحضير
Slit gizzards lengthwise into halves, parboil for 4-5 minutes, then drain.
Add tomato sauce and nutmeg or mixed spice, and stew gently over very slow fire for 22-30 minutes.
