Fried Liver

(1)- 2 tablespoons lemon juice |
|
 |
(2)- 1 kg liver, cut into thick slices |
|
 |
(3)- 2 large grated onions |
|
 |
(4)- Cooking oil |
|
 |
(5)- Salt and pepper |
|
 |
(6)- 1 tablespoon flour |
|

 |
(1)-Marinate liver in grated onions and limon juice for about 1 hour. |

(2)-Drain but preserve marinade. |
|
 |
(3)-Fry liver in the oil. |
|
 |
(4)-Sprinkle with seasoning. |
You can follow another steps to prepare fried liver:
(1)-Put liver in pot over high heat and stir to avoid it sticks to the bottom of pan.
(2)-Add oil when the liquid evaporated totally and fry over slow flame.
(3)-Before serving, sprinkle with seasoning or coat liver with seasoned flour and fry (in the same oil if you wish), until it becomes golden brown in color.
(4)-Get away from flame, drain marinade into cooked flour, and stir well.
(5)-Place again over flame and cook for 4-5 minutes. You can add warm water if you notice sauce is too thick.
Pour over liver and serve. |
