Fried Bananas


A wonderful sweet dish of fried bananas tastes more savory when served warm immediately after cooked.
المقادير
4 small, ripe bananas  
3/4 c. flour  
1/2 tsp. salt  
3/4 to 1 c. water  
1 c. canola oil (for frying)  
1 tbsp. sugar  
1 lime  
طريقه التحضير
Zest the lime and cut it into wedges.
Place flour and salt in a medium bowl and blend well.
Add water in enough amount until batter is smooth.
Add lime zest and blend thoroughly.
Dunk peeled bananas in the batter. Do it 2 or 3 times until well coated.
Place in a deep pan with oil heated at 375°F.
Gently place bananas in the oil and fry. Allow spaces in the pan.
When done, bananas become crisp and get a golden brown color.
Remove slowly and carefully from heat and transfer onto paper towels to absorb the oil.
Transfer onto serving plates and sprinkle with sugar.
Decorate with lime wedges, then serve.
