Fish Soup


المقادير
1 kg white fish  
4-6 garlic cloves  
cardamom pods  
Bay leaf  
Salt and black pepper  
1 tablespoon cornflour  
2 onions, chopped into quarters  
طريقه التحضير
Put onions, fish, cloves, cardamom pods, bay leaf, seasoning in pot, add water to cover, then parboil for 10-12 minutes.
Lift fish from soup, shell, remove bones, and flake in large chunks.
Blend soup in mixer, drain with very fine sieve, return to fire, adjust seasoning, add flaked fish, bring to a boil, and add cornflour to thicken if soup is thin.
Transfer onto serving dishes then serve very hot.
