Fatta, with Neck of lamb or Beef


المقادير
2 kg neck of lamb, or 1 kg beef  
5-6 cardamom seeds  
2 cups rice  
20 crushed garlic cloves,  
2 onions  
2 loaves crisp local bread  
cooking oil  
Mixed spices and salt  
6 mastic grains  
2 tablespoons vinegar  
طريقه التحضير
Parboil water with mastic grains, seasoning, cardamom, and onions, then add neck or beef and cook
When it tenders,remove from broth and keep warm and discard cardamom and pulverize onion completely.
Stir crushed garlic until golden, then add vinegar and boil for 3-5 minutes, then mix with boiling broth and simmer for 5-7 minutes.
Cut up bread into small pieces,and place in serving dish and completely moisten it with the boiling broth and top with a layer of rice.
Pour the remaining soup over rice, and place the meat neatly on the top.
For variety of taste, you can replace the neck of the lamb with chicken to make Chicken Fatta.
You can also Moisten the bread and rice with the soup, then cover the rice with yogurt with garlic.
