Egyptian Spiced Drink (Sahlab) is a perfect choice at a cold winter day as it gives a wonderful warming effect.

You can also prepared it
with 1/2 cup milk and 1/2 cup water.

Mix 1 teaspoon sahlab with 1 tablespoon of cold milk. |

Bring the remaining milk to a boil. |

Pour the boiled milk over sahlab and stir gently. |

Put over flame again, add sugar, and boil for about 2 minutes. |
|
 |
Pour into cups and serve very hot, sprinkling top of individual cups with cinnamon powder and mixed nuts. |
*Sahlab is available at all spice shops and some supermarkets as packaged spice drink, in powder form.
