Double Chocolate Walnut Biscotti


Try to dip these lovely hard biscotti in coffee, tea, or hot chocolate to enjoy a savory taste !

To make 30 biscotti, you need to prepare:  
2 c. all-purpose flour  
2 large eggs  
1/2 c. unsweetened cocoa powder  
1 tsp. baking soda  
6 tbsp.softened unsalted butter  
1 c. sugar  
1 tsp. salt  
1 c. choppe walnuts  
some semisweet chocolate chips

Bring oven to 350°F heat.
Grease a large baking sheet then dust it lightly with flour.
Make a mixture of flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt and place into a bowl.
Combine butter and sugar in another bowl with an electric mixer until fluffy.
Beat eggs and add to the butter mixture. Mix well.
Add this mixture to the flour mixture and mix well until stiff.
Add walnuts and chocolate chips and blend well.
Dust your hand with flour to form dough into two slightly flattened logs on prepared a baking sheet
Bake for 30 to 35 minutes until stiff a little.
Transfer onto baking sheet and allow to cool for 15 minutes.
Transfer onto a cutting board to cut into diagonal slices.
Place onto baking sheet and bake for about 10 minutes or until crisp.
Allow to cool on a wire rack then serve.
