Cucumber Sauce

To prepare 1 1/2 cups, you need: |

1 c. cucumber |
|
|
1 c. sugar |
|
|
1 tsp. salt |
|
|
1/2 c. white vinegar |
|
|
|

Peel and slice cucumber. Place in a small bowl. |
|
|
Make a mixture of vinegar, sugar, and salt in a saucepan. Parboil over high heat. |
|
|
When sugar dissolves, remove from heat. |
|
|
Leave to cool. When cooled, top with cucumbers just before serving. |
