Cold Meat Loaf


Delicious Lebanese meal usually served with with salad
المقادير
1/2kg ground lamb or beef  
Dash of cinnamon  
Dash of pepper  
Dash of zaatar  
1 chopped onion  
3 hard boiled eggs  
Dash of ground cumin  
1 tsp. salt  
3 tbsp. chopped fresh parsley  
طريقه التحضير
Mix combine meat, cinnamon, zaatar, onion, salt, pepper, and cumin finely
Place an aluminum foil on a flat surface and place some of the mixture in the center and wrap it to make an oblong roll
Half the boiled egg and place the halves on either side of each roll to make a loaf shape
Roll the aluminum foil and arrange in a roasting pan for 45 m. and bake in preheated oven at 375°F.
Remove from oven and unwrap using a fork and pierce with a sharp knife to make sure that it is brown from inside not only the outer part
Let to cool and then serve sliced and cold
You can tie loaves with string and cook in a Dutch oven instead of wrapping it in foil.
Preparation time: 45 minutes
Cooking time: 40 to 55 minutes
Serves 4 to 6
