2 cups chickpeas |

Salt and black pepper |

2 onions, chopped into thin pieces |

1 teaspoon cumin |

Local bread |

2 tablespoons lemon juice |

Leave chickpeas to soak a night before, strain, add fresh water twice their measure, and onions and cook about 20-30 minutes, until tender or wilt. |

Add cumin, lemon juice, salt and pepper and parboil for further 4-5 minutes. |
