Start with bringing oven to 325 F heat. |

Place warm milk in a saucepan over low heat for 8 to 10 minutes. Keep stirring until custard is done then leave aside. |

Use an eggbeater to beat eggs, sugar, and vanilla in a large bowl. Add to milk then blend carefully. |

Place all mixture into a baking dish then place the dish in a pan with water. Bake for 1 hour. |

Meanwhile, prepare sauce by boiling water in lower part of a double boiler. |

Add the beaten egg yolks, salt, and brown sugar in the top of the double boiler then stir until thick and creamy. |

Add butter and lemon juice a little at a time, keeping the stir. |

Insert a knife into middle of custard to make sure it is done. If the knife comes out clean, now take custard from the oven. |

Pour sauce over the top then serve hot or cold. |
