Baklava with Cream


المقادير
1/4 kg fresh cream  
1/2 cup butter  
1/2 kg gullash (paper-thin dough)  
2 cups sugar syrup  
For stuffing, you may need: (optional)  
1 cup of mixed nuts with 2 teaspoons of ground nutmeg, or  
1-2 cups sweet white sauce  
طريقه التحضير
Grease baking tray, then unfold 2/3 of the gullash on it.
Using a spoon, put melted butter over every other layer, then spread the fresh cream over the gullash and then cover with the remaining gullash.
Using the tip of a sharp knife, gently separate gullash from sides of tray and cut into sections or squares of 5-7 cm.
Spill the remaining melted butter over top and gently tilt to allow it seep through all the sections, then simmer in middle of pre-heated moderate oven till golden.
Remove from oven and saturate with cold sugar syrup.
