Stewed Pearl Onions

1/2 kg pearl onions |

1 teaspoon cinnamon |

2 tablespoons lemon juice |

 |
2 cups water, salt and pepper |

2 tablespoons flour, cooking oil |
|
 |
1/2 kg lamb |

 |
Mince meat twice and knead with seasoning, then wet hands and shape into small round balls. |

Peel onions and leave whole, then fry onions in the oil until pale brown. |

Fry meatballs in the oil of frying the ball, then add to onions. |

Brown the flour in the same pot, remove from flame, add water, and stir until thin. |

Add cinnamon, adjust seasoning to the flour and return to fire till boiling. |

Gently lower meatballs and onions into the pot and simmer over moderate flame. |
|
 |
Add lemon juice and boil 1-2 minutes and then serve the meal. |
